At Monk Haven, we don’t believe in “cookie-cutter” ceremonies. We offer a secluded, wild, and incredibly romantic backdrop for you to design a day that actually feels like you.

The beauty of Monk Haven is its versatility. You aren’t locked into one room for the whole day; you have the freedom to move between the rugged coast and the sheltered woods.
- The Walled Garden: Tucked deep within the woodland, this is our “secret garden.” It’s intimate, lush, and completely private—perfect for a ceremony or a long-table reception under the stars.
- Monk Haven Beach: Walk down the wooded path to the shore. Saying your vows with the sound of the Atlantic in the background is an experience neither you nor your guests will ever forget.
- The Cliff-Top: For those who want the “wow” factor. High above the water, overlooking the Pembrokeshire coast, it’s a panoramic setting that feels like the edge of the world.
- The Folly: Exchange rings next to our historic ruins. It adds a touch of gothic romance and timelessness to your photography.
Woodland Garden Weddings
We are a beautiful and bespoke venue for bespoke weddings and blessing ceremonies in Pembrokeshire. You can choose between having your ceremony on a beautiful cliff-top next to an old ruin, having a beach wedding on Monk Haven itself, or a lovely ceremony in our walled garden, nestled in secluded woodland in St.Ishmaels.
